"A website designer who unleashed one of the worlds most destructive computer viruses was jailed for two years yesturday(21/01/03).
Simon Vallor, 22, spread three viruses by email, disguising them as love messages and internet security warnings to entice computer users to open them, a court heard.
The viruses would forward themselves to the users entire email address book clogging up networks.
One infected 27, 000 terminals in 42 countries in December 2001.
At its height it was the worlds 3rd most prolific virus.
Part-time DJ Vallor was caught after boasting of his exploits in internet chatrooms."
